Annai Saratha Children's Home

During the last  two or three years  the economy of the  country was in a bad state and therefore  goods and services were in short supply or even not available. Consequently  cost of living was very high.  Thus  Hindu Council Of Sri Lanka (HCSL) decided to help Annai   Saratha  Chidren’s   Home  which is located in a  remote village in Mallikai Theevu in  Moothoor in  Trincomalee District.

There  are 26  children all girls  housed in a spacious building  adjoining a paddy field.  Vice President , Secretary, and two other members  of HCSL  visited  the Children’s Home on  12th August 2023 for the donation of  colorful  textiles in various designs. Textiles worth Rs.60,000/=    were handed over to the  Administrator  of the home. The children will stitch garments  for themselves and make use of it.

After the  event and lunch all the members of  HCSL  left for Batticaloa.
